pictures are hidden deep within the computer. I have a few volumes of yaoi sitting boldly on my shelf and none of my family will single it out from the rest of my manga! If my yaoi aware friends come over I stash them away in my dresser. 😉

Mines just in my anime folder. I'm the only one who goes on it, but I have it password protected just in case. Now the physical kind is more difficult. I have a small collection of doujinshi (about 20 maybe), and I have to hide it from my mother when I'm home, and my great aunt now that I'm staying with her. My mother wouldn't be understanding, but she really has no room to talk considering what she owns (a girly smut book, Penthouse Letters book, etc), but my aunt is elderly and religous, ie the only reason she's a Democrat is because she's poor. Add to that that the dj is yaoi, and not only would she flip, I think the shock might kill her (or me). 🤢 So I really have to be careful. I keep it either buried in my dresser, or right now, at the bottom of my suitcase.

it's easy Most of people don't know it because Windows let them use password-less administrator accounts (that's why windows sucks when it comes to security and viruses)
but you can create for every user his own account or session and use a FS (file system) that handle permissions (every FS other that FAT##)
and u can be sure (if u manage ur permission right) that no one can access ur files (at least using the same OS and the same machine)
if ur paranoid that someone can boot or access ur HD from another machine
then use a encrypted file-system (but that will pissoff the NSA or makes u suspicious in the eyes of E.Hover and his G-men ) 🙄

I keep all of mine on my computer and since it's my computer I don't need to hide anything.

I hide mine literally accidentally. My computer has so many folders, sub-folders and shortcuts hidden with those folders and sub-folders you'd either have to stumble onto my hentai by accident or know exactly what you were looking for from the start.

Mine u can see plane as day on my desktop proably because i'm an otaku. I even got my girlfreind into this stuff go me!!!

Just put in a Online HD, not because I want to hide it, but to have more free space inside my HD. I do it with almost everything. So, I have a LOT OF space in my computer. XD

I don't hide it. No one uses my personal laptop other than me anyway. Now if I croak someone is going to get an eyeful, but at that point it's not my problem. Print stuff I have is in a locked file cabinet in my office. I have the only key.

my computer run on linux (ubuntu). and i'm the only one who knows tricks of linux in my family.
but, hey, even if my computer run on windows or mac, i still the only one who know its tricks.
