Used to hide it, but not anymore. I keep hentai in E:\pornići\hentai (pornići = porn in Croatian 🙂 ) and couldn't care less if someone sees it.

Made me remember the time when I did hide my porn stash in a hidden folder. Surprise, surprise when I found it 7 months later, thought I deleted it.

I don't really hide it since nobody except me uses the computer. I put them on a folder labelled "ero" on the desktop and all the mangas are arranged alphabetically.

I'm actually surprised how many people do hide their hentai/porn stash. I see nothing wrong with people watching/reading porn/hentai, so why hide it?
I actually tell all my mates where to find my porn collection. 🤣

All my hentai, BL, porn etc. is located on my external hard drive. All nicely organised in their own folders by genre or mangaka.
The worst thing one can have, is unorganised porn.

HAHA I think I just hurt myself laughing at that last part. No but seriously I keep mine under pictures-manga-misc-misc2 and the final folder is named "if you've gone this deep then I dont need to tell you it's porn" Seriously its named that. And of course its neatly organized.

if its your friend or your older close relatives that found your pleasure lies in enjoying such material, yes, there is nothing wrong. but if its your younger relatives, your mom, your new gf, some measures should be taken. they, after all, are controversial.

I put it on a separate hdd and I use a separate browser just for my own use. 😛

I agree completely
the thing that piss me off is when i try to find something and can't find it
I organize my mangas sparsely by author (when multiple mangas have the same author)
but H-m is mostly organised by artist folders because when i like some style i tend to get the other titles too but the annoying thing is that some artists have multiple names and are members of circles so it's hard to put that simply in a folder under one name
i wonder how you solved that problem (me sometime i use symlinks for that)

As of now, they're in a sub folder of my download folder.
Not to hide, but there's just so much stuff in my downloads
that I can't tell what is what wish I to re-read something.

I use to hide mine way too deep in my C: folder so deep I even forgot how to find them. Then I just stopped and showed my brother and say there thats what I watch and read then that only left two other persons to deal with. Then later my dad sees me and no longer have to hide it from him then the damn christian in the house I hide it by simple using quickbookmarks.com to save the links and since I am the only person who truly knows to use the computer beyond the internet I just change the folder icon of whatever hentai manga I download to one of those broken looking icons and when they asked me why it look like that I tell them its a damaged file and to leave it alone and be careful not to make my damn pc get a virus

I don't exactly have a collection, but if I did I'd imagine I'd use TrueCrypt and disable thumbnails. (The ~/.thumbnails folder is a horrible pitfall).

I've been hiding those stuffs in my "Program Files/Common Files/" folder which thankfully no one ever dare to dig yet 😀

I also make sure to disable remembering recently browsed folders and clear the recent files on my media player.
