Just finished it. The typical Takahashi crappy happy ending. But it was predictable 'cause in the latest volumes I didn't liked all her choices. 550+ chapters to make an ending that everyone could be capable of. Wow!

Just the fact that a dead person (Kohaku) has been brought to life again by a sort of wish from another dead person (Kikyou) tells everything about this story and the mangaka's creativity.
I also don't understand Naraku, there is a limit to how much a villain could be stupid. He could have killed the only one who could kill him (Kagome) anytime but for an inexplicable masochistic reason he chose not to do it (he also could have wiped out the village when he wanted, why doing it at the end?).
Byut maybe I'm probably just angry that Takahashi killed my fav character (Kagura) and kept that f*** Kohaku alive... 🙂

It's really a pity, 'cause in the beginning this was her manga with the best plot.

I really liked the manga. I was so pissed when they cut the anime off (we don't get much anime or manga in DC) so I was soo glad when I found a scanlator website but for it. But the ending… well… the fight was sweet! But I don’t know. After all those dang chapters I really expected a big show but instead it seemed like they sped right through the ending a bit. I don’t know. I was just expecting them to go all out and it didn’t happen. 😢

Some people are like slinkies, not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs. 🙂

You know, a lot of people have complained about the ending to Inuyasha, but I don't think it really deserves the complaints it's gotten. In fact, if Takahashi had written it any differently, then she would be betraying the characters and the whole atmosphere of the story up until that point.
A lot of people get disappointed because it doesn't end the way they want it to end. If it had ended differently, it would feel like everything beforehand was made unjustified.
