Nijigahara Holograph - by far the most confusing manga I've ever read. it took me at least 3 times before I actually started to get it. It's good, but so good it makes no sense first time round. It's like the Donnie Darko of manga.

Angel Sanctuary was confusing first time around, but I've re-read it since and can follow it quite well now.

Shounen Mahoushi - mainly because it just stopped. I'm still trying to work out what happened.

Diabolo - Good, but for the first volume I was like 'WTF is going on?'

D.Gray-man - I've put it on hold because after the hiatus the art style changed, and some things that had happened were ignored and the monthly releases made it hard to keep track what was going on. So I decided to just wait until it was finished.

Route 225: It made sense till the last two or three chapters completely threw me off.

Air Gear: I applaud anyone who still reads this manga and believes it has any bit of logic within its plot.

No one has mentioned Blame!? I've "read" it (there is almost no dialogue or text in it) twice and still have no clue what the hell it was supposed to be about.

It's not that complicated. Basically it was about stopping the safeguards and stopping the megastructure by using a "normal" set of human genes. Although normal in their case was one that was modified to directly access the netsphere.

the most confusing manga I ever read has to Agharta. I never found out what it was really about as it went on hiatus after vol 9 and manga-sketchbook disappeared after that. Shame cus I liked them. 😔

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle

OMG I got some parts of it but other I was like WTF is happening. I could tell you an extremely simple plot of the story but any further I I would crash. I still don't truly know what happened at the end... 🤢

I finally get a grip of logic from TRC after read it for the 2nd time or so and the series goes on, but D. Gray Man's new chapter is pretty confusing... . I think I'll wait for the update and see if I could understand it.

Okay, yes, FREAKING CLAMP... haha, I don't know whether I hated Tsubasa Reservoir or liked it. I had no idea what was happening and who was who starting with volume 15... and (I'll put this in spoiler even though most people probably know it)

I still don't get why Tsubasa-Sakura had a clone. Tsubasa-Syaoran makes sense because he created a paradox and needed a Clone-Syaoran to take his place the second time, but still. I get the feeling I could read that series seven times and still not understand exactly everything.

I dislike confusion and usually drop the series once it gets confusing. The only one that I've stayed with despite that would be Dorohedoro

Route 225 was just one confusion after the other. The last 3 or so chapters made no sense whatsoever. But I've got to read it a second time and see. Despite all, I rather liked the story.

In Rasen, the confusing story-telling caused more annoyance than intrigue. After reading it 3 times, I still don't get what actually happened towards the end. Ugh!

Kind of surprised Asani Inio's Nijigahara Holograph hasn't been mention yet. Hell, there's even a specific thread trying to explain stuff in it since it's so confusing.

Heck... Nijigahara Holograph isn't confusing... it just doesn't make sense. I walked away thinking "Oh, I kinda know what happened, only to read the forum and wikipedia and be like wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Never would have DREAMED that was the story. That takes it beyond a mere confusion into the realm of WTF?
