I'm seriously considering dropping the project altogether if nobody wants to edit it. 🙁

Are your editors also cleaners? May I ask exactly what kind of work will I be doing as an editor? I'm new to this kind of thing.
I'm familiar with Photoshop CS3 and I have good english skills too, I took a literature course I hope that helps. I'm also curious about the deadlines so please clear this up for me.

Seems like they are. Our current editors do both cleaning and typesetting, but you can also apply to only clean or typeset.
Our editors' works include leveling, cleaning, resizing and typesetting the scans. Some projects have prettier scans than others, some projects have more text. So you might end up doing more cleaning or more typesetting work depending on the scans.

We can use backup proofreaders.
As for deadlines, let's just say that it's project dependent. Some projects are harder to clean, some take longer to typeset. Also, the page numbers vary. Generally speaking, something like 3 weeks for a 30-pager chapter.
