something different than the good stuff

This is kind of hard to explain...
I've grown tired of the many fun action adventure mangas where the main characters always goes on about how it's wrong for people to die (even if they are people who killed other people) or how it's wrong to get revenge, how they should just forgive the person (who happened to kill many people) and this theme goes on and on.
One example of this is Magi where the main characters like Alibaba and Aladdin thinks that Hakuryuu and Judal are in the wrong for wanting revenge.
Another example is (I know it's a cartoon) Avatar the Last Airbender where he doesn't want to kill the fire lord or when Katara confronts the person who killed her mom.
So long story short I've been wondering if there's an opposite of those types of stories above. I just want a different perspective than the "revenge is wrong" "it's wrong to take a life, even if that life killed many people"
I prefer if the main character is not the antagonist of the story btw. When I thought about this idea I thought Death Note and Berserk probably fit into these categories 😕

Something you should be made aware of is that the antagonist is always the character working against the protagonist of the story. "Good" and "evil" have nothing to do with it. In your example of using Death Note, Light is actually the villain of the story and the protagonist. Meanwhile, L, due to going against Light, is the antagonist.
As for recommending series:
Fukushuu Kyoushitsu
Ookami no Kuchi: Wolfsmund

Ahhh my bad I was thinking of the 'antihero' category title but I didn't remember it til now. Thanks for your suggestions though!
