Flying or teleportation even though I'm afraid of heights...
I don't think you'd be afraid of heights anymore if you could fly.

Whoa they all look so tasty 😀

Spontaneous regeneration, but I prefer the ability to copy other powers like Peter in Heroes.
Totaly. On the condition offcourse that there are other 'ability users' in the world 🙂
Too bad they make Peter look so gay each season though...
The ability I prefer though is control over Time (and space ~ as Hiro Nakamura would put it ^^). Maybe it has something to do with my procrastination-thingy... nevertheless controlling time kicks ass, more than what's displayed by Hiro @ heroes.
I'd grab some books & stuff and put myself in another timezone so that I'd have all the time to 'train' if you look at it with shounen-glasses. Maybe prevent my aging & continualy lengthen my lifespan by manipulating my body/life's condition?!
Ow and I'd put any immortal in his grave for all eternity... I guess they'd better wait for the next earthquake or something 😎
Kicking anyone's ass will be pretty simple, you don't even have to stop time, just slowing it down is good enough for uber-sharingan-type fighting style 🙂
Anyway this option wasn't realy on the list so I voted psychic/telekinetic powers... it comes close ^^

Immortality... hmm... I'll pass. The idea of watching everyone you love and care for dying really can lead one to insanity. For me... I'll keep it simple. I want the ability to control my bladder and intestine. That way I get my money's worth in the buffet line, and at parties, I can go on all night long! 😃

You didn't include the ability I really want, nor did you even include the option "other." Not cool.
Anyway, I want the ability to breath under water. It's so much cooler than flying; as awesome as the ability to fly would be, I feel that it might get old fast. There's not much to do in sky since it's so empty. The ocean is filled with so many amazing and great animals that we haven't even yet discovered, every time I go swimming in a big lake or ocean I hate the fact that I have to come up for air when all I want to do it explore the sea bottom.
I can't believe anyone would ever choose immortality. Living a long, long life is great, but I would never, ever want to be immortal. I don't see the point of living without family and friends, everyone you ever love dying and leaving you. That would be an eternal, living hell. You guys should read Tuck Everlasting.

the ability to change your own body in anyway possible, in ways that is imaginable and unimaginable.
why?
cuz with this ability you can easily modify your own muscles, giving speed and strength, you can also modify the brain so that it can be more efficient making you bit intelligent or maybe even super-intelligent. you can grow wings so you can fly, grow a flamethrower and you shoot out fire from anywhere on the body you grew the flame thrower. you can change your body parts into machinery so that it can shoot lasers. you can constantly renew your cells so you won't die making you immortal. move organs in your body with out risking the life, in case you get shot on the left chest (or you can change the heart to a bendable metal heart), you can also have super fast regeneration, super eye sight. and so on so forth... 🙂

But you still won't be able to control time! 🙂
So I'd still PWN >_<
No seriously nice thinking there ~ What'd you vote for then? Shapeshifter? (comes close!)

Shape Shifter! Then you can turn into a bird etc. to fly, or a fish (preferably a shark) to swim, and anything else xD. That would be very, very, very fun 😀

the ability to change your body into any substance =) the ability to be able to handle swords and stuff, you can still learn that, so I picked the body changing ^^

Mind reading, although Shapeshifting is a close second.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
Immortality, followed by shape shifter, although I would muuuch rather have Rogue's power from X-Men, get any power that way.

I do like Peter's power in Heroes, but barring the ability to gain all powers, I would choose the ability to control time and space like time travel/teleportation. After that would be shape shifting I think because it allows you to do a lot of things that other abilities can't allow. You can fly, or be nearly invisible, or lots of other things.

I think summoning a mythical beast would be fun. =)
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

I've noticed Peter's power in heroes would be pretty useless in the real world. You know, the one where people don't have any cool mutations to suck up.
And I'd like the ability to control insects. Micro-organisms would be fun, too, but I think I could do much more interesting things with a swarm or writhing vermin. B
