time manipulation. can't believe time manipulation wasn't added. maybe it's too powerful. 😀 anyways, slowing time, stopping time, speeding time up (for classes), time traveling, it's the best ability i can think of. perfect for test taking and homework in general, heheh. and with slowing/freezing time teleportation and superspeed are not necessary. pretty damn cool if you ask me.
Potential overuse would be a problem. If you spend 2 hours a day moving at 24 times the normal time rate, you would theoretically be aging about twice as fast as everyone around you from the first use on. You're also assuming you can interact normally with other objects, or 'bring them up to your speed'. How would you breathe if the air around you is frozen in time?
okay, well you might as well go through the whole list of abilities and start explaining how none of these can exist and start killing the thread for everyone. think Heroes.
anyway i'm pretty sure this thread is subjective. if i want time manipulation, i'm getting the friggin time manipulation however the hell i want it! 😃

Also, assuming your body remains eternally youthful, could the same be said of your mind? Would you be subject to the Alzheimer's as you grew older?
alzheimer's is not a mental disease. you won't get alzheimer's if your body has eternal youth.
I stand corrected, but the general question still stands. Brain cells typically don't divide or regenerate, and since all cells normally have a finite lifespan, you would want to ask the question of whether or not your brain would essentially rot as you aged, even if all the other tissues in your body stayed eternally young.
like i said, if your body was eternally youthful, you'd think your cells would have an infinite lifespan too because they're part of your body. as in they'd never age. as in they would never die because of the "eternal" factor. brain cells are part of your body too, so the same concept would apply, no? so they wouldn't degrade, meaning no alzheimer's for the eternally youthful kid.
and there are other faults of super-intelligence too, but i'm just too lazy to care and i'd rather just let people say what they wanted instead of killing their dreams of gaining supernatural powers through radiation and whatnot.

Knowledge is power...I'll take super-intelligence without the over-sized head that usually comes with it.
i'm with blak so 12 for me.

Immortality is quite high, whether its just human instinct to live and afraid of death... but i like the idea of obtaining everything and learning it all! 😲

Immortality... I quess I'm afraid of dying. It's a silly choice, because being immortal is hard. I really wish I could be able to live long enough to satisfy all my curiosities, desires and the need to know the future. Flying and Teleportation is also to my liking, this way i can go to every corner of the world without buying a ticket 😛

Why won't you transform into a barrel and
get into a brewery? 🤣
I hope this particular transformation never happens. 🤣

For me it would be Immortality if its real Immortality means eternal life eternal youth etc.
The reason is I don´t want to die and I will see how the world change in the flow of time.

I chose Summoning Magic Creatures and Such. I can do a lot of the choices depending on what Magic Creature I summon and everything. Immortality is a close 2nd though.

Of course it's all hypothetical and subjective. And what do we do with things that are hypothetical and subjective? We discuss them. Implicit in the thread is the assumption that the power exists, but if you could have it however you wanted then there'd be no point in defining the power. For example, with time manipulations as it's commonly understood (speeding up or slowing down time for yourself or the world around you), there's no actual way to make yourself immortal, not and interact with the world around you anyway. If you could have a power do something outside of its description then it would just be called 'god mode'.

Ah, but are we assuming that cells work as they normally do, but without dying, or with no Hayflick limit, or through some other principle?
