Glasses: A Necessary Evil?

Totally indifferent.
The same as with people IRL.
The glasses just fuse with the head.
If they've been worn all the time, it looks
weird when one is without them.
Precisely. I wear glasses myself. If I suddenly stop wearing them, people are generally shocked 🤣 I don't wear contacts or anything, so I'm hardly seen without my glasses on. I'm practically useless without them 🤣
I don't mind it when characters wear glasses. It's just another accessory at the end of the day.

Yes.
I have glasses that I wear when I get sick of contacts. I think some people don't look as attractive when they wear glasses due to that fact that the style (of the glasses) just don't fit them. I look awful with circular frames.

Personally I think I look better without them, but the chance to go without them is not very often.
I do love girls with glasses though. In fact I prefer bespectacled women to those without them. Guess its a fetish thing, hah.
(EDIT) Heck, I forgot even my avatar has a chick with glasses! 😀

What's the difference between the 2nd and 4th options?
Anyway, I don't really care either way. My sisters, parents, uncles, aunt, and cousins all wear glasses. I'm practically the only one in my family who doesn't.
Of course, the style of the glasses can make someone look ugly or sexy. It's just like a piece of clothing, it works for some people and doesn't for others.

I don't really care either way.
In some cases it can actually give this sort of sexiness to a character, like that girl whatsername from threads of time
In other cases it can make a character all the more hideous, case in point being that ichigo girl from Girls Saurus DX.
There is only one universal constant in glasses and that's the fact that monocles are awesome.

I've thought about how glasses help to make a character in manga some days ago. Like: cool, cute, nerdy. So that glasses themselves don't represent any particular feature, it's the form of them. And glasses also are in help when the art style is so that the faces are pretty the same and the author ran out of hair styles.
In real life it is kinda hard to pick a pair to your liking. They don't go in All sizes and it's hard to leave the store after you've tried on the whole stall.
I don't really mind whether the character wears glasses or not. It's just...there.

Ive seen alot of stereotypes and am hoping for one who is not. since i myself wear glasses i don't mind whether or not if the character has glasses but if its a stereotype, then im just like..."ugh not again"

but ppl still associate glasses with smartness (is it a word?) 😀
Many ppl's first impression of me: quiet, nerdy, smart and a book worm 🙄 oh well, it's nice when ppl think u're smart but then... don't assume if I'll do all the work in the group or if what I do during weekends is just sitting and reading. Gosh... no, I do hiking and sports and all that unnerdy stuffs too 😉
Help! I'm looking for... manga with dangerous guys http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=39874&page=1#post594033

Whether glasses look good or not depends on who is wearing them, character or person.
...But I do love bad-guys who wear glasses. It makes them that much more clever and sinister looking <3
