Yeah, I actually thought that Zoro returned somehow. :/
I'm betting that Oda will focus on Luffy the whole time, and then when his 'arc' is finished, he'll go to another character spending a lot of time on him also, then he continues with another character and so and so on.

Luffy gets caught?
Then it goes back to the crew members and they find out about him being captured after their level up and realize that it's up to them to rescue luffy or something @_@

Well then that's real asshole-ish of Oda.
If Zoro was brought there, Luffy would've heard about it, or it would've been shown sometime while Luffy was going down levels. The only people who'd believe that Zoro was back are the people who read it from time to time, or the REAL gullible fans.
Seems like Oda went like "LOL I THINK I'LL TOY WITH THE ZORO FANS FOR NO REASON THIS CHAPTER"

Great chapter, as always. Anybody have prediction on who will Luffy fight for his next loooooooooong one on one fight? I don't think it will be with the poison guy. He doesn't show that much 'aura'...

Dude, chill. All I'm saying is that anybody who's been paying attention to the story wouldn't have gotten their hopes up when they saw Zoro. I know it's been done before lots of times, but IMO I think Oda should've done it better or not have done it at all because it was too obvious when it happened. And this is Oda we're talking about. The man has done tons of surprises that came out of nowhere and that were better (Like having Duval look EXACTLY like Sanji's wanted poster) I just think the whole Fake Zoro thing seemed unnecessary.
And he didn't fool me because I've been paying attention to the story and I already knew there was no way he would've been put in jail seeing how far all of the Straw Hat Crew were sent away from each other..

The scene is limited to Mr 2's abilities.
Last we saw him, he was with the Straw hats.
If he changed his face into any other character from after that arc, it would require an explanation - which is clearly not needed nor wanted.
"Too obvious" may be the initial idea, but it doubled as a hype and that's a bonus.
There was nothing wrong with this.
Actually, it was smart of him to use Zoro because if it was any of the other members, the shock wouldn't be as great.

I guess it just boils down to me not being shocked about seeing Zoro and seeing through Oda's little trick then.
