I like how Oda-Sensei explore and carefully introduce the reason behind Luffy's cliche "i-wanna-protect-everyone-important-to-me" trait. And it's pretty amazing how he does Luffy's flashback only after the series had run for so long, most mangas usually do this sort of thing earlier on the series, this way I think he made people who already are fond of Luffy will like him even more.

Anyone care to explain who is the injured fella on board of Dragon's ship when he made a stop at zoro's village? Is it Sabo? or maybe just the regular injured Trash Mountain refugee??

I'm glad that the flash back chapter was done, cuz I'm itching for an update on the rest of the crew. The ending was awesome, i was like, "hang i there LUFFY", never b4 i've felt that involved in a manga character 😲 ODA sensei saiko desu, honto ni.

this is my prediction: he will learn to use haki from the snake princess and that will put him in league with some enemies that he will meet soon... but then he is to meet with blackbeard who now has 2 powers!!! If blackbeard is able to get 2 devil fruits then im thinking luffy might be able to acheive that as well.... just a possibility 😛
