This week's poll was suggested by sarcastic_username (yes, I'm laughing at that one). For example, take FLCL, also known as Furi Kuri or フリクリ.
PS: The results of this poll have no bearing on how manga are listed on MangaUpdates.
You can discuss this poll on our forums here:

You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related):

Previous Poll Results:
Question: The last volume of a series you wanted to read finally came out. You will...
Choices:
Read it right there - votes: 5729 (41.3%)
Start over from volume 1 because you forgot what happened - votes: 1640 (11.8%)
Read the previous volume over again to get a refresher - votes: 3819 (27.5%)
Read this last volume and then start over to get the big picture - votes: 2130 (15.3%)
I never start a series unless it has already ended - votes: 566 (4.1%)
There were 13884 total votes.
The poll ended: November 19th 2011
Yes, it applied specifically to volume releases on purpose. I guess a lot of people have great memories and can remember what happened previously? Or perhaps they don't care and want to read it

and for the title, i prefer Roman lettering(yes, the romaji of the title). While sometimes when the official title is better on my native, i prefer that. Well.... anyone have their own opinion.....

If the original title is a name or pun or something that really can't be translated effectively, I'd rather see it in romaji (or the equivalent in non-Japanese languages).
Otherwise, please just put it in English. Not half English, not Engrish; English.

I prefer it in romanji because it will be the closest way ill be able to say the tittle out loud when i talk about it. Obviously, i can't read in japanese but i still want to know what the original tittle sounds like.

Where's the 'don't care' option? And how is your average non-weeaboo know what's the difference between the first two options?

I prefer having the main title in romaji, but I think it's even better to be able to see all. I use the title in kanji to find the tanks on japanese websites, so that's really useful for me, while I also love to know the title in english, just to know what the title means and the official title in case it's been released, so I can find it on amazon. Also if you see people talking about a manga on a forum it's often the popular title, so if you wanna know what they're talking about that would have to be listed somewhere too. This is why I love being able to see different versions of the title on here 🙂 But yeah, if I'd have to pick I'd prefer romaji...

i dont like the original script at all, because, unless you know what it means, you would never be able to get to what you want.
as for roman lettering, that helps allot, but its confusing till you get use to the seriese, i keep up with over 300, so this may not be a problem to lighter readers.
if the seriese is translatable and makes sense, i cant think of many off the top of my head...
than sure, i can take an official title, and is some cases, like perfect girl evolution, that im damn sure has 3 titles, i prefer perfect girl evolution
but some just piss me off, like chibi vampire... its called karin, and thats it.

i'd like the english title for the most part, if the meaning can be shown in that english title.for example, Bleach over Burichi. but if there isn't a good english title then i'd prefer the romaji.

Bleach is actually bleach, i think. No romaji.

I beg to differ, not quite a weeaboo enough to change the plans in Death Note to keikaku, nor do I know what do they mean with about 450 mangas on my reading list.

I'll admit that I know what kanji, hiragana, etc. are, but I've no idea what roman letters are, and how they apply to the Japanese language.
