This about sums up my take on the matter. (Glad I don't live in Oklahoma at the moment.)
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

Okay, there's little doubt that Bieber isn't "mentally superior", but there's also little doubt that he knows what "German" means. It sounded like the interviewer said "Bieber, is German for basketball true or false?"
He got confused.
So yes, that does still probably mean he's an idiot, but not that much of an idiot.

His defense was that he thought they said "Jewman" because of their accent, and honestly, after having watched that interview, I don't blame him. The kiwi accent is pretty strong and misleading sometimes.(I'm not a Beiber fan though, mind you)
