I never realized that WB actually owns HBO. So that´s why a Watchmen tv shows is currently being shipped over there and why they nearly picked up Preacher. Nothing against Fox´s rather extreme Gotham but i may now have hope and a home for all the R-rated DC shows i always wanted. WB after all decided to double down on their properties and all demographics should be explored with an equal commitment.

...Today I was taught how to (appropriately) make Mexican rice. I usually can't get the texture right... I have the flavor down though. The trick is the fry the rice before you boil it.

I just read an interesting article on (games) programming in what used to be the Soviet controlled East Germany (1949-90). The developers of Spec Ops: The Line got their start in that scene.

It´s kinda weird how little talked about the Soviet Regime is these days, outside of Deutschland 83 and The Americans. I myself was born in the former Leningrad (now St. Petersburg).

I played around with http://howmanyofme.com and found out that there is only 1 (or less) people living in the US with my full name. Even that is probably me, as some of my online form list a fake US address, instead of my German one. I now once again have proof that i have one of the rares name combinations on the planet.
