I rather disagree with this one. The 7 'heroes' are so comically evil that it's not different from your typical 'defeat the bad guys' story, and the protagonist gets acknowledged as the real good guy as the series progresses.

Kubera has 10 main characters by the way, including ones who swap between good and evil. Also, the 'main main' character seems to end up on a darker path later on as well, judging from the insights.
