christ people with their passive aggressive "I don't care" bullshit
honestly if you add an "I don't care" to this poll, make sure to add one to every poll from now on because I've lost track of the times I have not cared about a poll here before - with the difference being I didn't announce it to the world

I live in Brazil, but I voted for Germany, but I also wanted to vote for Netherlands. They are both strong and if I had to chose one to win, it would be Netherlands, since they never won the WC. I'm also truly cheering for all underdogs (you go, Costa Rica!), except Greece. While I kind of cheer for Brazil, I also kind of don't want we to win the WC for political consequences. And maybe because I'm not sure if the team has what it takes?
I wonder how many games people who are criticizing the referee actually watched. I completely agree that the first referee was absurd, but he is not the only one incompetent. There were several others that did help one of the teams.
Anyway, I agree with barbapapa. I don't really care, I don't even like football. But WC is big event that only happens every 4 years AND that's not local, but internacional. So why not, you know, have fun with it while it lasts? If you don't want to, it's fine, just stop being a party pooper because the same way you don't care about the WC, we don't care about your opinion either.

I know, of course I would mention brazil games but they aren't the only ones with strange jugement, I think that it's between some referees that are chosen for political reasons (mostly those that don't make a referee team) and those who seems to help one team in particular. I supose that a japanese referee should know how to work as is quite a popular sport there.
Netherland and Germany are doing good but just can´t understimate the help that brazil may get considering that if they don't win the cup heads will fall (and that will probably include suicides)
PD: See you on Satuday (chilean here)

Nah, the background is an old American tv show, so it's safer to say that this meme is for American football rather than soccer. That's all.

That scene is from the Academy Award winning (Best Picture) American film, 'The Sound of Music', based on the Broadway musical of the same name. The film was set and shot in Austria.
The actress herself is English, and in fact, has been knighted by Elizabeth II. She's a Dame.
While I don't doubt that the picture was intended for American football, it fits the situation. Saying otherwise is silly.
That's all.
