I, masha fedotov, age 17, once had a one sided love that went for more than 5 years.

we met at age 6, and were friends for about 2 years before i developed my feelings.
even tho our friends considered us to be a couple, it was never official, and never clear that he loved me back (EVERYONE knew i was inlove with him).
when i was 13 i moved to another city, and lost touch with all the ppl i knew. still loved him till 2 years ago, when i somehow managed to contact him again, and we got into a flame fight through my best friend (it was a daily ritual when we still lived in the same building, but wtf is the deal with flaming me online after 3 years?!?).
now i despise him.
never had a boyfriend or fell inlove since.

unrequited love hurts the most. i currently am in love with someone whom i have told i love and she spurns me to this day. But you know what? i am a grown man and i don't let stuff like that bother me

One sided love....is so common for me that I treat it as for every crush I have (low self esteem). I'm still young anyways...right? Though I get the feeling that there's gonna be more one sided love in the years to come 🤣

Still can't tell if it was a complete waste of time and feelings and if there was any meaning to it. Reducing it to a memory of the usual teenage silliness is probably the right (the adult) thing to do.

My second GF in High school just started ignoring me, after we'd been together for months. She never said anything to me and I was damned if I could figure out what was wrong, trust me it wasn't from lack of trying. We eventually officially broke it off, but I still had feelings for her until I graduated.
