What does our tribe think about the job of our mods/admins?

Tiresome. they deal with all our spam. If you were around a couple summers ago, it was filled with tons of spam. glances at post count/reminiscences
But maybe it's gotten easier. I dunno. I stopped being a spammer after that due to lack of time.

being an admin is really tiresome...they have to be 24/7 on or you will find yourself in chaos...

Well let's see~
-Answering Repetitive questions. (Where can I download this?...or that...blah blah)
-Dealing with spammers. ( Yeah there use to be a lot here 😀 )
-Dealing with trolls. (Many on this site)
-Trying to be active or else hell ensues. (You're gone for a day, and there's more spamming than you can count in a weeks time.)
-Moderating. Spending more time moderating forum/updating manga than actually reading manga and this is a manga site! D:
-And all the while also having a life. (Or what seems like one.)
I can just imagine how great being an admin or mod can be~
Thankfully I am not one.

Yes. yes! That pretty much sums up everything. They work hard to maintain dis forum and deals with all kinds of users.

Personally, I find this the MOST difficult job for admin/mods since they need to be wise and decisive in making the right decisions. 😐
Choosing the right person to hold these responsibilities are very important too:
I recall apforums.net where they used to have this Horrible Admin who happens to be a "troll" (an idiot ofcourse) who banned users as he pleases. He even made incredibly stupid threads, ban the site's mods, and misuse his power.
and look where he is NOW.(the forum even made a special Hall of shame for him~
Even the virtual world has its own injustice and often ruled by stupidity.
and ofcourse, that is a bad .example. of the consequences. (edit:I herd it's some kind of april fool sick joke but ppl take it srsly O.O)
This forum on the other hand, is a well maintained forum. It's one of the biggest manga/community forum and well done, admins, mods!

Ah, yeah I forgot being unbiased. They have to rule without taking others opinions too seriously~
And well they constantly have to deal with flaming when people don't agree with their judgment. People have to learn how to flame right! Do it behind their backs, no warning and better yet no banning! 😀

It's difficult to differentiate the borderline between flames, bashing and trolling. or who is the penetrators or the victims.
Be wise. 😎
And that is a challenge in the work and responsibilities of the admins and mods.

Tche. Flames, bashing and trolling tis all the same to me you end up making others feel bad either way.
But you know what's an admins/mods toughest job? Not being able to curse people out!!! 🤣
Only reason I retired from being a moderated in a yaoi forum, oh so many haters. Little ole me didn't last long~ 😀

But yes they do have it tough, especially those that have to sit and read through all the new posts. I've read some that are scarring here, heck most of my posts leaves a lot to the imagination. And there are far more corrupted minds here than me, that I can reassure. But we will never know how tough they have it since they rarely post...it's a tough job after all. 🙂

It was worse when there were only 10-20 thousand users...you should've been there to see just how bad it was...I should know, I was part of it 🤣

Fucking sucks. I've been a mod/admin on a large site before... It's fun on a small site. but on a large one fucking sucks and only power hungry idiots and people who don't wanna do it, but also don't want the idiots in charge, get stuck in the position. And also a few people who legitimately care, but they don't count.

I noticed many mods were...spammers.
Makes you wonder what are the requirements to even being a mod...Tche I bet you guys have a spamming forum in the admin/mod section thingy~
Lucky~At the forum I was in you could only spam once to be a mod. That one thread I spammed in was life damaging for all. 😀

I'm sure its pretty tiresome, but I imagine they find it interesting as well. Otherwise, why would they have signed up for the positions?
