It was okay, I wasn't expecting much, I just tagged along with my cousin and took my younger brother...and he enjoyed it, which was the only thing I was hoping for. So...if your bored, go watch it. 😉

I also took my younger cousin (I'd promised him I would). I had low expectations which were met. While I didn't find it funny, I appreciated the CG despite some scenes where I couldn't differentiate any robots 😕 . The metal scraping against metal was well done but I coudn't for the life of me tell keep track of the induviduals --- they looked the same.

Who said they didn't know what Transformers were? How can you live in this world and not know about those extremely annoying robots?? They're EVERYWHERE!! My cousins actually just got a game based on the movie. The point of the game seems to be to break/kill everything and everyone in a poor little city somewhere. They had lots of fun making pill-shaped bombs explode, knocking them back 20 or so miles. I played it and got chased by the cops (and repeatedly shot at).

Personally, I see this turning to a rant thread...but I'll see where this goes first...

For me, I had low expectations to begin with so wasn't particularly disappointed or impressed. Though there were a lot of problems, the biggest problem I had with it was the backstory.

"The primes sacrificed themselves to seal the weapon and the matrix"

Okay, so why did they need to do that when they could've just blew it up like Optimus did...

CG was good though and i enjoyed the humor they put in even though it was inappropriate...(like I said, low expectations)

I have succeeded! 😕 for the rant part

Some of the storyline didn't make sense to me...

But then I stopped over-thinking it. It was a pretty dope movie nevertheless.

The only part I enjoyed was the part with Dwight in it. XD So funny.

I just watched it today, I liked it. I wasn't expecting much because of all the bad reviews, completely bashed on Rottentomatoes but it ended up being pretty good. Don't get why everyone hated it, maybe because I had low expectations to start with?
People kept complaining of the lack of plot (not the plot holes, but the lack of plot in general), and I don't see where that was a problem.
Biggest problems were Megan Fox's acting and the shaky cinematography during the action scenes where it was hard to tell exactly what was happening.

that's Michael Bay for you
and about Megan Fox's acting I don't see where the problem is,
she's hot that's the main reason why people go see her movies

Wait, are you saying that being hot makes you a good actor, or that if you're hot, then it doesn't matter that you can't act?

Well, the whole movie could've been named
"Megan Fox's tits moving during and in between
action sequences." Not much acting required.

Once again, Mams hits the nail on the head. 🤣

She still needs acting lessons though.

That is what I was trying to say.

The twins were pretty offensive and there was a lot random location jumping that just didn't make sense. Also decepticons are born from eggs? WTF what is the point of the all spark then? A lot of cussing and innuendos for a movie aimed at kids who eat kids meals too, honestly I don't really mind harsh language but it seemed forced.
