We're looking for experienced editors (cleaners + typesetters) for our projects. If you lack experience in either of these fields, then this isn't the group for you.

We do a lot of diff genres~ Normally we try to be on schedule and release one chapter monthly of each series if possible, but sometimes things happen and you can't meet that. But trust me, I do try my best to get things out as soon as possible, so if you're a slacker staff, I won't tolerate it. It's a big downside to our group in general if there's a slacker who doesn't do their share of work, and it's not fair to the rest of the group. I'll also point out right now: I HAVE EVERY INTENTION OF GETTING SERIES I PICK UP DONE. I WILL NOT PICK 348343 SERIES AND NEVER DO THEM. If I pick up a series, it's because I really DO wanna scanlate it. Don't you dare compare OB to any group that does that, or I'll get mad and be really insulted.

THE LONG POST!!

WHAT: This post basically goes more in depth to what we want. Unless you wanna apply, then don't bother reading this. ;o

CAN YOU APPLY AS A CLEANER OR TYPESETTER SEPARATELY?

Yes, you most fucking certainly can (excuse my language ;3).

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

*** Cleaners**  
      o I would normally offer to train newbies, but I can't. So instead, [train yourself](http://www.unblessed.net/guide/main.html) and come back!  
      o Experienced cleaners preferred~! If you prefer to take the full editing job [cleaning + typesetting] that's also fine with me!  
      o You will never be forced to clean a series OR genre you don't want to clean  
      o We stress high quality. Meaning if web raws aren't HQ, then we go off and buy the raws to scan. Yes, they are debinded. You will never work with guttershadows of any sort. So don't worry about that stuff!  
      o We aren't completely anal and want every redraw to be super SUPER perfect, nor the SFX to be cleaned out [SFX cleaned out = waste of time & unnecessary]. However, you gotta know how to edit - no beginners plz, if cleaning fails I'll probably get someone else to do it or make you redo it. =P  
      o ZOMG DUST CHECK!! Yea, too bad, I expect you to be able to check for dust. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Don't make a QCers job harder than it should be. ;.;  
      o Please provide past samples from past experience [raws would be appreciated alongside the samples too]  
*** Typesetters**  
      o A typesetter's job isn't that difficult - putting the English text into the cleaned scans. I can't really provide any info that [this site](http://www.unblessed.net/guide/main.html) already hasn't, so look that over. And I mean, seriously, **look that over**.

DO WE GOTTA DO SHIT WE DON'T WANNA DO?

I actually divide the staff up in groups - the shoujo/josei, the shounen/seinen, the BL, and the I-don't-give-a-shit category. So... you'll never do the genre you're not in UNLESS you request so. >__>

Before asking you to do a job, I won't just appoint you a random series - I normally list 3+ series from YOUR PREFERRED GENRES and give you the benefit of choosing the series you'd prefer to work on! Please, be dedicated! If you won't be dedicated, don't bother applying!

I will stress this word, DEDICATION, because the amount of people that have gone MIA because they lack dedication have held back our releases, and I'm not one bit happy with this. Don't tell me you'll be dedicated, and then dissapear 2 weeks later and not reply to any of my emails, messages, or anything. I need FULLY DEDICATED STAFF. I understand we all need a little motivation to keep going, and I will try my HARDEST to give you that motivation. But don't apply and then be "k nvm I don't wanna work anymore".

I personally only lead on the shoujo section, and a few of the shounen/seinen projects. other stuff (BL, GL, and other crap) other people are in charge of. xD Not me.

HOW LONG DO WE NEED TO TAKE PER CHAPTER?

I try to work around your schedule. Some series are more urgent than others, so I try to work around your availability to suit a series that 1) fits your tastes and 2) fits in with your schedule. ^^ It works quite nicely with us that way, haha.

TYPESETTERS WHO CAN FINISH A CHAPTER WITHIN A WEEK OR SO, APPLY (of course, a bit longer is okay too. But ASAP is good >__>)
CLEANERS WHO ARE EXPERIENCED AND DON'T TAKE 20 MILLION MONTHS CLEANING A CHAPTER, APPLY.

CAN WE REQUEST OUR OWN SERIES WE WANNA DO?

Yes you can. As long as you agree to work on them. Getting translations for whatever series you want won't be hard at all (I'm so epic when it comes to translators). However, don't request Series X and then refuse to work on it. o_O; it's YOUR series. __

CAN U PLZ TRANSLATE SERIES X FOR ME / MA GROUP / MA MOM / MA GRAMMY / MA DEAD DOG?! WE HAV ZEEROH TRANSLATORS LOL

Unless you're willing to cough up IRL cash, then fuck off. I'm not a charity. Get your own damn translators.The short answer? (damn you TL;DRers): No.

Do you wanna joint for Series X?

It's more than likely my answer will be NO. I dislike joints probably more than anyone you've ever met. I'm not the type of person to pick series and never work on till 35939 years later, so if I pick up a series, I have EVERY intention of getting it done. Unless I REALLY like your group (read: I hate most shoujo groups apart from a few, and all LQ groups), then I will say NO. Don't even bother asking if you're the type of person that doesn't plan to do any work, or you're a "x number of posts" group (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, 90% OF SHOUJO GROUPS!), as my answer will always be the same, short and simple: No.
