Sowelu has good songs as well, cant remember their titles though

Shimokawa Mokuni - almost all her songs are great (FMP music <3)

When it comes to Japanese music, I prefer the actual Japanese music to the Jpop/Jrock. Aside from the language, there is very little that separates Jrock/Jpop from western music.

I really like Urami Bushi and "The Flower of Carnage"(that's the translated name) by Meiko Kaji.
