I'm looking for recs that involve a foreign exchange student. I'd like it to be a Shoujo Romance ^_^ I'm not in the mood for Josei. My preference would be the guy to be a exchange student. I also don't want the girl to be of the cliche type either. For example when the guy walks into the room, she goes, "Wahh...he's so handsome..." NO. But either way, guy or girl, it doesn't matter who's the exchange student.

The only things I remember reading about a foreign exchange student are Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Private Prince. Both of those are examples that I do not want hah.

Kiss/Hug - He's half Japanese and half English and was studying abroad first. (I don't know how cliche you'd consider Yukino to be. She might be too cliche for you.)

He isn't from America or whatsoever.. he's from Africa. And, his character pretty cute, childish and no smut actually 🙂 ( Just, the chapter cover may seems like SMUT ).

The heroine also have no stupid brain like some other manga shoujo character and she looks like Leo care-taker 🙂
