I don't have a licence but I can drive motorcycles. And I borrowed my friends motor a few times.

I don't have a license or a permit. I can get one since I'm old enough but there's not really a need for it since I have people who can drive me around.

Yes, I have a license since I was 19. I could have gotten it one year earlier, but college got in the way (I was studying far from home). In Portugal, you can get a license for cars when you are 18 and the license for motorcycles when you are 16. It has two exams: a written exam (30 multiple choice questions with pictures. And it's not that easy as it seems, since you can only get up to 3 wrong to be able to pass) and a practical exam. I was lucky enough to pass my written exam with a perfect score and I also didn't have any issues with my practical exam (even though I was really really nervous).
I learned how to drive in a driving school. My mom was barely driving back then (she still only drives for her things. Going to my brother's school, going to the cemetery, picking up my brother or my cousin... The long drives are on me -.-) and... Let's say I didn't have a dad (and I still don't. Only on paper). Right now, I feel like the family's chauffeur, since everyone asks me to drive anywhere xD

Licensed at 16 I think but I don't drive for shit so I'm not adequate and scared I'll get into an accident =p

THe only reason I learned to drive is to get the license and it's a good skill to have to take yourself to places on your own but I clearly haven't developed the skill. Other than that, with 4 other people in the house who can drive, I don't care. Plus I live in a city where public transport is pretty great so I have other alternatives to get to places.

Where I live, one can get a permit if they take driver's ed and start driving at 15.5. If you didn't take driver's ed, have to wait until 17 I think

Yes. I think in Illinois, we can get a license as early as 16 because some of my schoolmates already got one when they were that age. My dad and older brother taught me how to drive when I was 18, and in that time, I received 10 years worth of verbal diarrhea. It was brutal..
