Couldn't get into it, too childish (aesthetically speaking, with the result that the story seems too inappropriate). Anime was decent as long as they remembered that there was also a plot and not just plain fanservice (so just the first series). But well, I mentioned it because it was imho one of the most fitting examples of a loser in a relationship with a girl of an higher social status, not 'cause I particularly liked it.

(on a side note if i's is what im thinking about than yes he did get her... then again i accidentally mix parts of ichigo 100% and i's and something else i read at the time because i was stupid and read 3 similar manga in extremely close proximity to one another chronologically.... It's been years since I read I"s but I thought in the end they didn't get back together as a couple. Did they have feelings for each other? yeah, but I don't remember it being a happy ending.

What I do remember is Ichitaka keeping the creepy molester guy away from Iori and it ends with him lying in the snow in an alleyway. It felt like a cliffhanger ending, since the resolution never really came. Oddly enough, even though I hate when manga series do that (which is too often) I really liked this one.

Ya u sparked my memory and I think the guy up there is right, u missed quite an ending as well... I'm not even embarrased to say I bawled like a 5yo girl during that manga xD.
