It has to be Batman vs Joker. After that, Batman vs. Ra's al Ghul. Every other rivalry tends not to be so deep in comparison. Spiderman and Green goblin has goals other than to beat each other to a pulp. Superman has friends and family while Lex Luthor has his empire. Batman and Joker just don't stop. Punisher would be similar if not for the fact that he tends to kill all his enemies. Those that continue to live just aren't realistic enough.

I don't read comics either, but the civil war arc was a must, a friend of mine pretty much forced me to read those comics and I don't regret it one bit

after that I decided to dig a little more into the Marvel universe and there is where I saw Thanos and the annihilation ^_^

Of the DC TEH BATMAN is the best Hero of the DC universe.... and that is thanks to his personality and his villains.
