I don't think they'll become extinct any time soon...
Watching something with a BIG plasma screen beats watching the same thing on a laptop...
If I want to watch something alone, it's the laptop since it's much more convenient and I can even lie in bed...
I watch tv with my friends/family.

I dont think it'll be extinct.. aslong as us humans are still alive.. it will pretty much be still going on.

Many of us may have laptops or our own computer. But if anything goes wrong, next thing people may rely onto are TVs and everything that comes with it. Such as Xbox, DVD and so on.
