I'm not sure if your vehicle would give you the right of privacy. I'm not sure if this is the valid story but i remember hearing about it a while ago lol.

thats very interesting o.O?? oh well if he gets convicted im 99% sure if he goes to appeals court they will overturn the original conviction, and funny thing is as of right now if you're in a vehicle you own it's considered private (for lack of a better word). The reason its funny is because the Supreme court has just got back in session and a case that they will be looking over pertains to your vehicle and your privacy, if they side with the government then, in extreme cases it can literally be like 1984 status. lol

You lost me at "supreme court".... LOL well honestly there's nothing you can do in a vehicle that's extremely private, or else i would drive around naked.

I build security cameras (well, in a sense, the ones I build are more likely to be for security at an airport or border or something, though, they're quite expensive). After I started doing that, I got a lot more aware of cameras everywhere.
And seriously, you were already watched everywhere. What put you on edge now is probably the fact that they didn't bother to hide it anymore. Those cameras have always been more camouflaged before, but nowadays people in some countries (I'm assuming you're in the US) seem to accept surveillance more readily. So I'm guessing they've just started to save money on hiding the cameras.
That said, I think putting cameras in fitting rooms is way out of line. And you should tell them so.
yeah, I'm not used them being displayed so...openly(?) in public. I guess it's more of a shock to my system than anything else...

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

@sweetnsour; i have no idea about it but i'm just guessing that the multiple camera's in an intersection are probably for the same purpose. For example, having an image of a vehicle running a red light from many different angles.
I don't mind security cameras.... I mean, it's not like I have anything to hide....! And I don't steal or cheat or do other bad stuffs.... so it's all good... in the hood.

Where I used to live (before coming to college) most of the stores for buying clothes were in the mall and had security cameras in the fitting rooms.
It makes it a bit awkward.
Other than that, I don't really care.

yeah.. everytime i go to a comfort room in a restaurant or mall i always check the fire alarms, if it really is just a fire alarm and the mirror, to know if its only one way.. and yeah.. im just that paranoid. things is some cheap restaurants and motels have these things to take pictures of you while you are doing your business and they will make it look sluttty and then there gonna make money out of it.
so anyway.. security cam make me feel safe and creeped out at the same time if that makes sense.

okay...
is anyone slightly in the least bit creeped out about the alarming rate of security camera that have been popping up lately?(er-well in my area they started to spawn like madmen...perhaps I am just paranoid about this...)
yes, I do know it's for security, safety, and etc but even so...the sheer numbers of cameras I've seen nowadays is astounding. Doesn't anybody else think that there should be a limit to how much cameras they should set-up?example: I was in this store and I counted 13 cameras just in the vicinity of 2 (out of 7) cash register/check-out counters, over the top isn't it? There were more in the back of the store.
Another store I went to states (in the changing rooms) "Warning: the fitting rooms may be monitored by the same sex" I didn't realize this until I had already undressed (as stated in that small sticker on the mirror)...I find this really unsettling, I don't know for some people, but I do not want be half naked/undress knowing that there is a potential that someone is watching me, harmless or not.
(and yes apparently it is legal in some states to have cameras in dressing rooms as long they inform the customer in some way/not used for any malicious purpose.) http://www.legalmatch.com/law-library/article/are-cameras-in-dressing-rooms-legal.html

Dude, I immediately thought of 1984, weird how books from long ago predict things that are alarmingly accurate.
