But my favorite end scene would have to be
getting drunk on the roof of the school with Kenji and falling to my death LOL
I played only Act1 but i can say that scene was quiet a shock
if getting sad drinking with a guy gone bonkers wasn't enough (like in IRL)
i had to watch that horrifying scene ..... it left a bad taste that didn't go for days 🙁
I found an interesting critic of the game link
thought it's in French
the gist is that the reviewer who is a girl (yes! yes! a girl playing Eroges! did you think Kirino is the only girl who did how naive!!)
argue that the script of most of the routes where badly handled
and apart from Rin route which saved the game the other routes especialy Hanako and Lily are badly done
tough i didn't play the full game yet so i reserve my judgment for later

Just shows that ultimately taste is the determining factor and reviews made by other people are a vague indication at best.
I liked the Rin route the least and actually liked the game less because of it... But hey, it's optional.
I also wouldn't classify KS as an Eroge, more like a Visual Novel with optional erotic scenes (which is NOT the point of the game, i.e. trying to get in the pants of ...). Actually, I think the game works better without it.
Yes, it could have been much better, and yes, the story lines are reaching short... But let me ask you:
Did you have to pay for any of it?
Did you contribute in any way to the project?
Are there any alternatives with similar setting or theme (non-fetish) ?, I've looked and there simply are -none-.

well maybe you misunderstood but the girl who reviewed IS playing Eroge games
not because she played KS but because she reviewed and played other more Ecchi and Hentai games that are in her blog (Come see me Tonight (one of the first Eroge i played) .... "Saya no Uta" (Cthulhu inspired horro))

Yes my arguments that i didn't spoke exactly
but make no mistake it's precisely the absence of the commercial aspect that enabled the creators to have freedom to do what their creativity would tell them do, and not to please the marketing department or maybe the fan base (although i suspect this aspect contributed to cripple the game story wise )
well the game did better that most Japanese VN script wise (and even CG wise )
but that wouldn't save it from criticism precisely because it's good.
if it was trash no one would bother to review it, and write more that hundred lines of dissertations (the girl who reviewed it studied literature) if the game wasn't intellectual (challenging ?)
and KS is not the only amateur VN out there there are other games and the Girl reviewer is doing her own and reviewed some other games (like Tokyo Alice) check her blog

There should have a been a true end where the MC would have remained single and solved all the girls problems but died in the end like a stoic badass due to his heart condition acting up in a heroic final act.
