Because I read my manga/manhwa in Korean (which I'm not completely fluent in), I tend to get more attracted to the ones with better graphics.

I also tend to get turned off by many types, aka: Fate/Stay Night, DN Angel, Tactics, etcetera. A series has to be really good, and have a variety of fun characters, while offering good drawing and an intriguing story.

Perhaps if it had been years ago, when I was content with anything (having not read much), I would like series like the ones mentioned. But, now, if something is cliche, I really notice it and usually get turned off.

If you're like me, then what series are, in your opinion, good, and surpasses the others?

not really...because i'm not a "manga elitest" because i find naruto rather enjoyable sometimes aswell as other mainstream manga....but i' am picky reader......but to answer the question, i've only read a few manga......because i just recently got into manga, but i've seen alot of anime.....and i was reaaallly picky when it came to anime, and it translated to my manga aswell......it's just cause i've seen so many stories done wrong and done great.....it's easy to notice something that's just not really good......and i just cant watch something thats not good nor can i read it.....with that said manga's that were to my standards were

Hajime no Ippo
Vagabond
Koukou Debut
Kimi Wa Pet and some i just started reading maybe...

also Gantz Vinland Saga Spicy Pink Fullmetal Alchemist, and Usagi Drop

dont know how this helps though...but yeah

I read whatever... I just have a few genres I don't have the desire to read that make me feel uncomfortable (yaoi, shonen-ai) Although there were a few shonen-ai that interested me I generally avoid bl completely, other then that i read almost anything 🤣

yes i'm very picky! unless i'm acting under temporary insanity/ the manga is exceptional, I only read prettily drawn shojo/josei manga. I don't do supernatural stuff so well. I usually like real life stuff and relationships. like Nodame Cantabile, Koukou Debut, Love Catalog, Masturi Special

Not really. I generally dislike sports, the historical and tragedies but I'd still pick them up from time to time. The only genre I don't read is yaoi. The art can be crap and the story could be mediocre but I generally still stick to a series once I start.

Not really, pretty much read everything. There are stuff I like more than the rest, of course.

I''ll read it as long as the art is somewhat up to my standards or it's really funny. I don't like horror or yuri though @@. If I don't like a series by chapter 5 or so I stop reading. However if I'm already up to chapter 30 or so I continue reading **
