Have you ever tried running away from home?

No where else can I go and if I really do go what option do I have.
Lets see:
-go back home and look like a dumb ass
-stripper
-prostitute
-flip burgers for the rest of my life
-sell drugs
-jail for stealing (hey 3 square meals a day)
-homeless shelter or sleep on the streetSo, which one would you rather have 🤣
i don't think every single runaway would end up as that.. 🤣
some may do it to find themselves (like self hunting)
and some may even run away because their parents are abusive.
I still don't have one, shoot.

I kinda wanted to when I was around 7, because my house is really quite oppressive(maybe stifling would be a better word?), but even back then I knew it would be stupid and illogical and I wouldn't be able to live for very long.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

smh
No one gives a shit what trite garbage you write here.
Nah I've never had the guts to do it.
I've thought about it a fair few times when I was a kid, but that was the problem. I was a kid, and angry and my parents for the stupidest things. I think I just liked the idea of running away and the effects it might have on others. Maybe I wasn't such an idiot when I was a kid either, because I remember thinking that I knew I wouldn't last and I'd just look like an idiot when I came back home 🤣
Now instead of running away, the idea of moving out is more appealing now i'm older. Healthy food will need to be sacrificed for this though as I learn how to cook 🤣

I've considered it, not very seriously. It would be more interesting than anything going on at home, anyway. I don't have a good enough reason to try anything so stupid, though--give me a home situation that's worse than wandering around trying to survive, and I'll think about it.
I suppose I'd read too much about runaways that didn't turn out well. Besides the Ramona one, which has a lot in common with the "packed, went a little ways, came back" stories here. It just never seemed like a good idea.
They say it's the thought that counts, but then they tell you, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions......"
