dunno. Maybe replacing gives more of a comics feel, no? It doesn't have to be about leachers all the time. Manga is an asian art, so replacing all of asian traces would decrees feel of it. Try imagining "Batman" or "Xmen" with "doki-doki" or "piku" sfxs - hillarious, isn't it?

I sorta jumbled two thoughts in one. sry
*replacing sfx with words in english - takes away the feeling of "asianism" of manga, manhwa
*replacing sfx with translation - makes it hard to accept it as a serious work
