its a common name where i live which is ironic because naming a human after god is forbidden in islam and my country follows the purest form of islam which basically means constricting personal freedom and sexism but they managed to forgive people naming their children after god

Sophia over here. I used to hate my name, but now I love it. Especially since it means wisdom and all that. I've noticed that a lot of new babies are being named Sophia, but when I was growing up, it was pretty unique.
