lookin for certain "samurai" manga

A girl seeks revenge on this guy. but finds he is too difficult to kill and he lets her follow her. hes supossedly really strong. sooner or later i believe she falls for him. it a old style manga similar to blade of immortal but its not. been looking just cant seem to find. any suggestions?

the closed thing i can think art wise would be the guy who did kubikiri asa and most of his stuff seems to be about feudal japan, hope it helps

lol there was a samurai x arc that fits the description. but samurai executioner is totally wrong. maybe you should post names of characters or something, otherwise it's kinda hard because on this site almost nobody reads old mangas (most users are shonen and seinen fans).

i was sure it was blade immortal because thee characters fit the look of what i remenber. but its not. from what i remeber the guy was a vagabond-like person and he meets the girl right away but she can't kill him. her name might have started with an s.
she also leaves him for a while

From the description here maybe Meteor Methuselah also called Immortal Rain.
It's from 1999
I'm only guessing from descriptions I haven't read it yet.
