Blood Donation
I donate periodically (twice a year.... not quite as much as I can). I've been worried about iron levels before but haven't had any problems yet.
Reasons: I don't really see why not. My country is in constant need of blood donations and I'm healthy enough to oblige. As an infant, I required some transfusions for surgery and decided to help where I can.
Experiences: I've taken anywhere from 5 to 12 minutes... it all depends on how much liquids I consumed the day before and day of the donation. I've never been bruised by the needles and haven't had any adverse effects from donating (I don't feel light headed after).
Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?
I would like to, but girls in the state I live in are required to be at least 110 lbs to donate blood... which I'm not. I wish they would scale it to height, because I think my weight is substantial enough for my height. But whatever.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

No I haven't donated blood.
Yet.
I have been thinking about it for a while actually, but life is just too hectic at the moment to inquire about it. Hell I don't even know what blood type I am.
I can see myself doing it in the future though.

I haven't and don't intend to. Simply put, I think my body works better if I keep my blood inside of it, and I see no point in giving it away to people I don't know, especially when those people might then go on to do things I wouldn't approve of. Besides, I don't regard death as something to be feared or postponed, as many people seem to. As far as I'm concerned, death is just a necessary part of life. We literally couldn't live without it.

I'm at the minimum age to donate blood (16), but I'm lacking parental consent. (My mom is worried amount of blood taken out.) However, I'm going to start donating once I turn 17.

I don't do needles, there was a rather traumatic experience with a student nurse and a very large chunk of my leg missing from when I was a baby. Also (relatively sure) I'm AB+, which is the most useless type.

I did it once and it did not go well. I almost fainted in the chair. I think the lady put the needle were it wasn't supposed to go. I might but I'm scared now. 😔
