I'm looking for a manga like REAL by Inoue Takehiko.
something realistic ,not freakish with a bit of comedy and life
makeover. manga that will raise your mood and make you start thinking a little. 😃

Usagi Drop (not nearly as serious, but the same sort of vein as Hotman).
Sexy Voice and Robo

Some of the themes in the first and last one are, for lack of a better way of putting it, pretty distinctly Japanese. So sort of hit and miss in that regard, I don't know your taste, so I can't tell whether that would enhance your experience or not.
