We finally get to see Gin's bankai! Is anyone else as stoked as I am to finally see what he can actually do?

how is ichigos dad so strong?! now we have to wait like 100 chapters to find out. gins bankai could be cool but idk with this series anymore.i just hope its not something retarded

FINALLY GIN DID SOMETHING

for ages the only thing i ever saw him do was stand around say a couple of things and that's it, ow and maybe 2-3 times he shot his sword.

Even though we learned absolutely NOTHING NEW in this chapter I am mighty impressed by Ichigo's words here. Probably the most mature he's ever acted and yes thank you Isshin for headbutting Ichigo, it appears to have 'brought him back'. Also some pretty decent comedy from father and son. Kubo gets credit, from me atleast.

Hopefully now Ichigo can start 'fresh' against Gin because let's face it fighting Aizen really took a lot out of him mentally. Gin's Bankai will be nice to see however it does make me question whether Gin has a mask or not. I only ask this because Tosen didn't use his bankai when he used his new mask, whether it's because he thought bankai was now beneath him or whether his hollow powers replaced his bankai.

Also MAJOR improvement to the art, it's as if Kubo has been reading my previous comments.

This chapter was pretty good. Like most of the people already typed, we didn't learn anything new but it felt satisfying with Isshin hiding smart intentions under dumbass actions like usual. 🤣

And the way he started to kick Aizen's ass was refreshing as well. I kinda don't expect it to keep up, but it was cool while it lasted.

Plus, I'm looking forward to what Gin's bankai is gonna be. If only we could see what the hell Yamamoto's bankai was before he kamikaze'd.. ;__;

Ichigo's selective hearing makes me a bit nervous for him in the future. Originally I wondered if Aizen really did say "Because you are a human and a - " in chapter 397. But I checked it and no, Aizen really did say "shinigami" (thank you, crusty three year-old intermediate level Japanese); Ichigo got that confused himself. So this question of his duel nature has yet to be put to rest. Awesome, that gives us something to pine after until this arc is over.

Ooooh, Gin's bankai, I don't think I can wait another week! whatevercoulditbe!? Something kitsune-y, perhaps? I put my money down on a fox theme.

It'll be interesting to see Gin's ban kai, but I honestly am not expecting much at this point. Isshin on the other hand, that's something I looking forward to, especially given that he just flicked Aizen through two buildings.

I really doubt that Aizen is going to end up getting beat in Karakura Town. I can see this whole fight getting stopped mid-way as Aizen announces the fact that his mission is completed and that he is going to go attack the King or something like that.

Well, the first thing I noticed about this chapter is that the line was changed from "Because you are a Shinigami and a -" to "Because you are a human and a -". And yea, it's not an error in translation. So, that could mean one of two things. Either Ichigo misheard (as someone already mentioned), or KT fd up. What do I have my money on? KT fd up. Oh well, time to move on with the uninspiring story.

Isshin's middle finger attack that he did was interesting. I guess we'll find out what that was in about 10 chapters. Gin's going Bankai. I guess that's cool. I think we've all been getting tired of seeing the same ol' Bankai over and over, and it's felt like forever since Soifon used hers. Hopefully this doesn't disappoint like Tousen's fly Resurreccion.
