A common thing I see in most stories is that a female opponent usually gets out of a battle without a scratch but the men have scars, gashes, bruises, cuts, scrapes, etc. Are there any manga where females get hurt but don't die?

Akame ga Kiru!, Alyosha!, Hakodate Youjin Buraichou Himegami, Mondlicht - Tsuki no Tsubasa, Teppu and Tokyo Girls Destruction are the few I can think of that might be around what you're looking for.

Thank you!

I just remembered: Ringo and the Fishman Bowl also has that as part of its story.

Kengan Asura comes to mind. Doesn't have a lot of female fighters though. I guess the Kure chick counts?

Thanks Null, I'll read that one too!

I've read that one. I was disappointed how it turned out and how it ended, Marf. Still, the earlier arcs are top notch!

Kubera - Sort of.

She'll get fatally wounded but will heal it back up.
