I'll read anything that catches my eye or has a plot that catches me.

That said,I am most partial to hentai/ecchi (um...I'm 25 & female..it's ok to be a bit much into that,right?!?),adult/smut/ledicomi (As close to hentai/ecchi as possible,I suppose.),YURI! (which there needs to be alot more of!!!!!),shoujo (Again,I am female.),DOUJINSHI! (I love those,too!) & video game/fantasy (I am a video games dealer!).

I'm into anything as long as there is no full out, "doing it". I read generally romantic comedies, shojo, a few shonen, seinen, josei, anything that involves demons/death gods, shonen-ai and some shojo-ai.

I believe that even though something may say "shojo" on it it'll appeal to some guys and same with shonen. A good example is X/1999 and Rurouni Kenshin. Both appeal to both genders but X/1999 is marketed as "shojo" and RuroKen is marketed as "shonen". In the extras (of RuroKen) you can read that the author gets tons of fan mail from women! And CLAMP gets tons of fan mail from both genders as they write things that appeal completely to both sexes. Like Chobits is a seinen manga but there is so much romantic tensiion between the various characters that it pulls in females too (plus, most girls get a kick out of seeing guys exaggerate when they're in a sticky situation with a woman)

Well there's also the different clothes and outfits that Chi wears throughout the series. 🙂

I do alot of eBay searches....and,I believe that X by CLAMP is actually marketed as YAOI,not SHOUJO.

Anyhowz.....I love all CLAMP's manga series'.

I prefer seinen, psychological & drama.
Anything "serious" stuff, exept adult, and too much gore...

Definitiv king of my manga world: SEINEN. I read Shonen too (best comedy!) , but i normally don't take em very serious. Bleach and Air Gear are 2 good examples of Shonen i really like. Really fun, a story that makes about as much sense as snow in hell, and they both have really nice drawing. So seinen first, and Comedy and Shonen second.

I also have a big weakness for one-shots. ( as long as they are not shonen.ai )

Most Shonen and Shoujo stuff is a bit to predictable for my taste.

i like it all.. ranging from super sappy shoujo stories to blood and gore...

i generally like shoujo though
but i find that many titles are really predictable

shounen, action/adventure is good as well as comedy
super ecchi stuff bugs me a little though

The funny thing is, from what I know about X/1999 manga and having seen the X movie, I don't see it as "yaoi". At most, shounen ai. Because yaoi would mean that there would have to be some guy with guy sex. 😲 I've heard more about the killing off of characters for X than that.
