Pale Skin vs. Tanned

I was rather thinking leaning towards darker skin, or leaning towards lighter skin, as I said, wondering what sort of tan is more attractive to each gender, if it mattered much at all. Of course I did not mean to offend any of you -- I sincerely apologize, as that was not my intention. 🙁 I live in America and see all sorts of beautiful skin shades, whether naturally inherited or through varying levels of tan. I only used the words 'pale' and 'tanned', to refer to skin shades, not thinking of the consequences. I myself am of mixed blood, Irish, Polish, and Russian mostly. I usually prefer paler skin on girls with darker hair colors (including redheads), but that doesn't mean that I don't like tanned girls either - as long as they don't overuse solarium, I'm all for it.
You can PM me if you need a temporary (freelance) cleaner/redrawer for some project. Especially if it's something with nice art.
Being the lazy person that I am, I'm not likely to accept anything long-term though.

It's not that I mind darker skin but I play tennis so when I get tan, I have 3 different shades going and it just looks....bad. But the type of tan I just can't stand is orange....no one can pull that off 😔

Different people pull off different skin tones.
I tend to find that generally asians look better pale though

I don't like really dark skin, but lightly tanned skin can be quite erotic (as some animes/mangas have shown). There is some pale/white skin that can also be very beautiful or dazzling. It really depends on the person though, because some look burnt not tanned, while others look sickly not silky white.
