Hi,

as some of you may have already noticed, I am a BIG fan of genderbenders. However, I'm kinda hesitant about the series Gacha Gacha since the ecchi tags makes me scared if there may be too much psuedo yuri.

Anyway, my questions are:

• Which is better, Gacha Gacha or Gacha Gacha - Capsule?
• What's the difference and which comes first (I've checked Related series and year, but it didn't really help much...)?
• I absolutely loved Change 123, would one of these be able to meet my expectations?
• Which one has less ecchi and more shounen-ai situations? 😛

gacha gacha capsule is part of the whole gacha gacha. the other half is called gacha gacha secret. secret has some "pseudo yuri" in it but there is none in capsule.
Q1: i liked capsule better
Q2: capsule comes first. the combo of capsule and secret is gacha gacha. i know its confusing
Q3: never read much of change 123. sorry
Q4: dunno. but there is a little bit of shounen-ai in secret

Gacha Gacha capsule is a lot more enjoyable than Gacha Gacha secret, but technically isn't a Gender Bender. The difference between the two series is that one is the first 5 (I think, the number might be off) volumes, and the other is the rest. At that point the story completely changes (new characters, new plot, basically a whole new manga with the same name). So if you were to start at the first chapter, you'd be reading Gacha Gacha Capsule, but eventually you'd reach Gacha Gacha Secret. Gacha Gacha Capsule is very similar to Change 123, but without the emphasis on combat and more emphasis on the original personality. And I'd say that there is more ecchi in Gacha Gacha Secret, but no shounen ai themes in either (It would be pseudo shounen ai, at least, and not the good kind).

I'm glad the psychological emphasis will be similar to Change 123. Of course, I didn't really expect there'd be any actually shounen-ai, just pseudo.

the guy turns into his female form and like gets raped. thats all. no real rape happens but during the scene, the guy accidentally changes back into a guy

im not sure if that really counts 😕
