About estrogen shots for bullys. It reminds me of an effective way to kill cockroaches with a special powder. First you catch the cockrach, then you have to carefully pour the powder into it's eyes. Then it will go blind and die from hunger. Nice, huh?

Ares, we cheer for you.
Moritana: I wonder why this neigbourghood is dangerious. Maybe because you are dogwalking there? Oh, and the best painkiller is an axe. Try it, you will see.

moritana: have a nice walking.
But you must have a big dog if you can walk there safely. That or maybe bear coat scares them. Shows what can happen to them if they attack you.

Well, somebody has got take care of the local bullies afterall. Never thought though that running them down with a pudel in your hands could be so efficient. Live and learn as they say.

There is a difference between bullying & teasing.
Teasing is the silly stuff that can sound harsh to others but causes no bad feelings among those involved. Bullying can sound like teasing to others but does cause bad feelings to at least one person involved. The distinction can be entirely in the mind of the person on the receiving end - the exact same comment can be teasing or bullying depending on who says it, who it's said to, and the relationship they have.
Bullying sucks. End of story.
Of course sometimes it's easy to see it's bullying - nasty verbal stuff, causing physical harm, etc.
No one has (yet) been successful in bullying me. In Jr. High & HS some people tried, but for the most part, esp. with verbal bullying, if you just stand up for yourself the bullies will stop. Bullies pick on those who let themselves be picked on; don't let yourself be picked on and they'll quit. Doesn't mean you have to "change yourself" to blend in, you can still be weird, a geek, whatever - just make yourself an unappealing target. 😃 And you do not have to have tremendous self-confidence, you just have to be able to fake it (it worked for me).
Physical bullying, esp. by a group, is a different story. Never had any major experience with that, probably because I'm female (less physical bullying among/against girls) & taller than most, and have always lived in safe towns. As a parent, though, I have zero tolerance for physical bullying; fortunately my kids haven't been bullied (yet). If they ever are, watch out world~ I'm not one to shield them from life's every bump, but I will NOT allow them to be bullied. 😃

I used to think that it's the person's fault if they're bullied. I mean, it's so easy to fight back, no?
A while back, I read my high school classmate's blog on the internet and he talked about bullies being his greatest fear. My friends were the ones who bullied him, I never actually participated but I never stopped it 'cause I thought it wasn't a big deal.
Now, I feel a bit guilty for not helping. But I still think that it's partly their fault for ignoring it and their friends' fault for not lending a hand.
