There are too many harems and a lot of them suck. When done great that is sweet but, most I don't like.

Most of the good harem comes from Seinen. Harem from Shounen have tons of ecchi. But I prefer Shounen Harem anyway 😀 .

Anyway, I'd say it's a parody of harems, too. The girls' interest is just way too over the top sometimes.

Harem manga are okay. I usually prefer harems in hentai more than in regular manga, though Girl Saurus really is the most interesting of the bunch for me. Ichigo-saurus has to be the most terrifying character I've ever seen.

In regular manga, the guy pretty much keeps his hands off the girls for one reason or another. In hentai/adult/mature manga, he gets a taste of everyone and their sister (and occasionally other relatives.)

Never touched "School Days." The video game it's based on has a nasty reputation and people's description of the guy made Shinji look decisive and dependable.

I have to say that even though I usually don't like reading Harem, I get drawn in to it too often. The multiple love stories, betrayal, and the clueless guy who keeps getting everything just draws me in.
I have to say, I usually end up hating the guy, unless he really is good at heart (e.g. Keitaro from Love Hina)
Especially Itou from School Days. At first he seemed ok but when he

kissed Sekai of his own accord I really started to hate him. I really hated the end of the manga, but the anime ended just right. A-hole got no more'n he deserved.

Well, every genre can be awesome when done right, Harem included.

I want to read a good harem, with girls that actually have personalities and aren't just fine with other women clinging to the one they love. 🤨
