well yesterday i read immortal regis and now im reading cavalier of the abyss and need to get some shit straight though im a bit confused! so here it goes
in the end of immortal regis we have this kid, who gets to be a "undead" and after that his brother is taken by some stone of soul, something like that and promise that he will save his brother.
then after that i start reading cavalier of the abyss here im on chap 5 and this is what i got so far...
this guy that is a "undead" that was the main character, has now her master serin captured and is now evil, dont know if im right, but now there is this blond kid like he is the main character.
so i wonder if the next arc or part2 of immortal or whatever is a plot twisting, and if someone can give me an explanation if is so i think im dropping this shit, just because, change everything to try appeal people to read it, and im sensing that its just a desparation from the manga writer/author to twist everything and make it interesting but turns out to be crap, and if it does i dont want to waste my time reading it.
so can someone give me som explanations of whats going on with the manga/manwha, its a bit confusing! >:-( 🤢

If I explain anything it'll be spoiled. King Nex is the guy from Immortal Regis. It's pretty good and it all connects so just keep going with it. The arc that's going right now is really filling in some gaps.

im still reading but having the guy from immortal regis be the "bad guy" is like "wtf come on!"
so i would like spoilers, because the further i read the more confused i get 😔

After the first 10-20 chapters (don't remember exactly which) there will be a flashback that shows what happened after the end of Immortal Regis, that flashback it's still going so it's not clear yet how he became evil. So you'll have to keep reading 😛

he isn't really the bad guy (at least that's what it seems like atm) and around vol.5 you start get to know the circumstances (extended flashback) and some other things you're left in the dark with when cota starts

So are the circumstances clear yet? And is the guy from Immortal Regis back to being good again?
There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

You do realise that they just finished a flashback right?
Have you not been reading it? Go read it if you haven't.
This story shouldn't be confusing anymore. That flashback basically filled us in until the current time Cavalier of the Abyss is in at the moment.

I haven't been reading it. I read Immortal Regis, then a few chapters of this, back when only a few chpters had been realased. I was hoping someone could offer a spoiler, because I hate stories in which the main couple goes wrong - and any other couple I might come to care about.

It's hard to spoil something that hasn't been fully explained but here are my observations and theories
the dude from immortal regis became king Nex to stabilize Chaos after Kalabolg (or w/e Nex's brother became) was going to crash it into the human world. The current queen in CoA somehow made Nex marry her out of revenge against that girl from Regis' clan (I'm not good with names if you can't tell). Still not sure how the sorceror girl got locked up, but it seems Nex might be doing it for her protection or maybe was forced into it (cuz they getting it on pretty well before). Oh, and the prince in CoA is the son between the current queen and her brother I believe... the poor guy...
I suggest you read it for yourself as this explanation is pretty rough.

Thanks, I'll read it when it gets to about 15 - 17 volumes. And yes, I know that might take years.

He might be portrayed as evil, but after reading a bit, he really doesn't seem that way to me. The flash back going on right now is clearing up a lot of the story, as many have mentioned, and his reasons for what he is doing are coming to light.
I think the appearance of him as an "evil" king is just put up because of the situation the main character was placed in, it's like telling a story for the perspective of the bad guy (though he really isn't one) or the person taking the beating.
And yes, the main character from Immortal Regis is King Nex in Cavalier of the Abyss.
