Neon Genesis Evangelion. Although this can be more directed to the author than the Scanlators. According to the release, the last chapter was first released almost a year ago, and another group released the same chapter in November. Um, I don't know where else to look, but apparently the author hasn't released another chapter since then. This is more directed at the author. What the hell's going on?

And Elfen Lied. It's still going, it's still being scanlated, but boy is it taking long. I looked through the previous releases. It was on a role until around January last year. Now a new chapter is released every what 2-3 months. That's brutal. Maybe they lost a group of people form their scanlating team or something, and are now short-handed. Don't want to rag on any group providing people with a free service. I just hope they can get the right personnel so they could finish the manga (since it has ended already). Don't really have 5 manga, that's about all I'm anticipating strongly.

I finally read the three volumes of Ray that are out there, and BY GOLLY, I WANT MORE. M-S only scanned the English releases, and guess what? ADV only released those three volumes. ;_; If anyone has raws and a translation, I could be persuaded to do the rest...

I just love Akamatsu's mangas and I'm really unhappy this one hasn't been completely translated...

Yakitake!! Japan- I haven't read any new chapters in about 2 or three months at least.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei- There are alot of chapters that were skipped, it went from ch. 11 to ch. 81

Edit: Can't belive I forgot Eureka Seven, it's going but very, very slowly.

Highschool of the dead is one i want to see more of...
but i don't think that its stopped completely so its nothing to worry about.

Vampire Princess Miyu was licensed by Studio Ironcat. They released several volumes and then went bankrupt. They still owe me one volume. Seriously, someone should pick up VPM and Vampire Yui again. Larva and Nagi = <3

Alichino, Silver Diamond, Kugutsu, Koori no Mamono no Monogatari, Shiiku Gakari Riika (either I'm dumb and can't find it anywhere-NOT asking for it's whereabouts) and tehnically there aren't too many, just extreeemeeeeelyy slooooow releases....and again, I'm NOT complaining 🙂

Yeah it would be nice if someone picked Chaosic Rune back up.

Then once that's finished it might also be possible to get into the sequel as well.

I hope someone would pick up these series!!

1. sex pistols - yes i know it's licensed.. but can't seem to find the manga anywhere (at the bookstores in my country at least)... it's really good but the scanlations stop at volume 5 (i think)!!

2. Koori no Mamono no Monogatari - i was so anxious to read it that i can't be bothered to wait for the english scanlations... decided to read it in raw... it's good that i can find it.. phew... but i'd dearly love the english scans!!

3. Shiiku gakari rika - another good manga that's angsty... it's a cliff-hanger at the end of the last scan!! i keep wondering what's gonna happen! but the worst thing is.. the raws are in japanese.. sigh. can't read it...

4. I'm aware of Love at night - again i think it's licensed.. but darn.. can't find it.. but this is a good manga!!

5. Ja-dou - sigh... licensed again... generaly i have problems purchasing yaoi/BL manga...

"Alive" is probably the one i'm most interested in being revived.

i mostly put get backers cause i couldn't think of too many discontinued manga, but if someone picks it up, once it gets to vol 16, i'll start reading it. I like that manga and i only have up to vol 15(mostly byaaah's tokyopop rip-offs, but whatever) and i want to read more, it's addictive.
