gay chemistry in movies

I watched Lilo & Stitch for the 50th tome last night... Jumba and Pleekly anyone? They frequently dress as man and wife. 😉
Nothing as steamy as Diego and Sid though

Alright, last time I posted I was far from my DVD collection so I'm gonna look over it and list a few:
Has anyone here seen Blades of Glory? It is sorta funny, sorta stupid movie... but the (intentionally?) implied gayness is quite amusing. A lot of fun and awkward moments between the main characters.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure anyone here who is a Lord of the Rings fan has seen the tension between Frodo and Sam. My mind says Legolas is gay too... but that is with little evidence to back it up. Elves in general are like a race of "pretty-boy" uke.
Now if you are looking for good movies that are actually gay, try:
Running with Scissors
Mambo Italiano
Interview with the Vampire
Dorian Gray
R.E.N.T
If you are mature enough, I would also recommend Mysterious Skin… but due to the disturbing content it has been banned in a few locations.

Totally agree with "A Knight's Tale"!
And, well, I don't thing ANYONE here is going to deny the mad-crazy chemistry between Holmes & Watson in the most recent Sherlock Holmes movie... OR between Kirk and Spock in the Star Trek Reboot. <3

🤣 Blades of Glory had so much gay chemistry~ So did **Pineapple Express** between Seth Rogan and James Franco~
@tartufo: Sherlock Holmes movie was like Sherlock and Watson practically a bickering married couple. 😀
Kirk/Spock always has had gay chemistry 🙂
If anyone has watched Inception...I kept thinking Eames/Arthur 🤣

You have to watch "Sherlock" the miniseries by bbc...so SO much chemistry

OH YES, THE MINISERIES. <3
Well, even the books themselves are gloriously gay... There's even a yaoi manga inspired by them! Fin de Siècle Detective Club... 😀
But sticking to the movies theme - am I the only pervert that sees slash in kids' films? Like, between Nemo and Gil in Finding Nemo... Babe and Farmer Hoggett ("that'll do, pig!") in Babe, Hiccup and Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon and of course the couple of the century, Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story!
... DO NOT BLAME ME, it's all the ENDLESS HOURS of baby-sitting that have completely done my brain in. I mean, without any proper subtext to pick out? My brain latched onto anything. And I do mean anything. 😲

Hiccup and Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon
Okay, so maybe the thought also crossed my mind ...but due to the fact that they are different species I sort of instantly wrote it off. If only dragons had the magical power to turn human or something! 🤣 Though the reason I slashed them is because Toothless in particular has a few resembling personality traits of a character in a story I'm working on, so the dynamics just... jumped out at me.
When I was watching Treasure Planet I could not stop myself form seeing something between Jim and John... but the cyborg is not all that appealing and has much more a pedo "who's your daddy?" feel to him. Putting that aside, it is a touching film.
sigh I wish I had babysitting for an excuse; but I just love film and animation.
Oh, a new recommendation (not a kid's movie) but Dead Man on Campus also had a lot of gay chemistry ...to a point where a group of side characters mistake them for a couple. There are a lot of tasteful gay jokes in it too. Gawd, I love this movie.

The film Fired Up.
It's too intentional, but the moments are rather adorable.
One of the leads even munches on anal beads at some point (being unaware of what they are).
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.

Watched a Lord of the Rings marathon the other day, fantastic movies, every one of them.
Those hobbits were totally gay.
Also, haven't seen, but I've heard Deception with Hugh Jackman and Ewan MacGregor is gay subtext with a little plot thrown in.
Caught Resident Evil 4 this weekend, and there seemed to be some gay chemistry between Alice and Claire that I don't remember from the third movie. The movie was terrible, BTW.
