...and dragonil14 you have 3 real options ...no 4-

         1.alcohol drinks(best but short-term op.)
        2.therapist or parents-(suitable one)
       3.overwork yourself to maximum
4.....drugs(they are helpfull but dangerous try it as last option but its A LOT better than killing yourself-.-,

Best luck! and don`t do what you think u want to do.... 😔

LOL, WTF you don't give advise and suggest drugs (unless your talking about anti-depessants in which case, i'm sorry) drugs make things worse, you get a high of about 5 minutes and a low of about 12 hours. Not to mention the amount of money drugs cost. Alcohol isn't as bad, as long as you don't get addicted and drink socially.

try to read what is between this-{(}and this {-.-,}
...and after yours "5 minutes high and a low of about 12 hours" he will feel so bad that suicide won`t even cross his mind and after 3-4 years of rehab he will be so fcking happy and full of dreams like 6-years old japanse slu....I mean girl....

My suggestion is to go and volunteer somewhere. If you stay inside reading manga all day and don't have something that takes you outside of your home, then the best way to interact with people is to either get a job that involves coworkers, or volunteer and help the less fortunate.

Let's say you were to volunteer at an old age home. It would help out people who wouldn't get it otherwise, and it generally gives people good feelings to help other people. So, you'd both get something out of it.

If you don't like dealing with aged people, then find a cause that you like. Just do something to get your mind off of manga, and that helps others which gives an ego boost. It's win-win.

Yes. Try finding a balance between temporary satisfactions and living a life of constant discipline. You are not a bystander of your life as you would be reading someone else's story, so instead of watching how you want to live it, be it. Live like the characters in manga do. I know that sounds vague but when you open yourself up to the world as it has opened up to you, you will find something lasting worth living for. So take everyone's suggestions (excluding the ones about drugs) and do them, and simply live for each moment as you do them. Once you live like that, the experiences you make can't be compared to the ones you see on paper.

I have had similar feelings before, and also felt tired of life altogether. In my case though, it was due to a great amount of stress, and not because of boredom. I know in such times one may not want to hear things like "get a hobby," but I would advise you to try to step out of your hole of depression soon. There are so many other things to experience in life, and since you are given life, you should do something with it for better or worse.

Think like this, if you like reading manga now, you might not have the chance to spend all of your time reading them in the future because you will (most likely) provide for yourself in the future, so maybe just try to change your view on life and think positively to discover new things. If you can do it, you will feel that a huge boulder have been lifted from your shoulders.

Yes, and you go this site for help.

Find something to replace manga/anime, but less... destructive? Could be something similar to it. Look at other things in the Japanese culture. Maybe aim to go to Japan yourself.

Dude if I had the motivation/money to go to japan, I wouldn't be in this rump. How is anime destructive compared to blowing all this energy and money to go travel.
As for getting a boyfriend of girlfriend....why would I want to do this if I don't even want to get out of bed? I can't even see friends or call parents without feeling tired. Things are looking up a little - I skipped classes but did make it to my work hours tonight. Honestly right now I just want to take things step by step and look at the work in front of me. Priority is that I need to at least get the essentials done. Anything farther and I will crash. One step outside the door and I will crash. I need comfort, quiet, stability for the time being, and to be away from people.
The eating and drinking is not excessive for me - I'm drinking cup after cup of hot teas and chocolates is all. Watching anime in bed is the problem. I am afraid of leaving my room and for the most part have no energy to do so. In reality I can sometimes be very productive and do enjoy working for days on projects, but right now I feel depleted, deflated, and weak. I hope that if I can complete these small tasks, my energy will come back to me little by little.

additionally, I really am not living off parents and am actually financially independent at this point. If anything, other people have way too much faith in my abilities, and I have trouble explaining in real life that I am not doing so well right now.

I really don't think many of the advices here will work. Ideal solutions are not the same as possible solutions.
"Get a girlfriend" - - As if getting a girlfriend is something easy.
"Do what your manga heroes do" - - Yeah, walk around with a sword killing hollows.

My suggestion is sports, choose a sport you like, enter a team, be it your school team or a private club. "But I'm not good at anything" You can't hope to be good without playing or training.
In my team, we treat all new members equally, it doesn't matter if they play well or not. And with time, newmembers start making friends in the group, until coming to the training isn't only about playing handball, it's about meeting your friends, sharing moments and learning together. But it's also about playing, playing until you can't lift your arm anymore and then sitting and relaxing, and feeling....elated, free of everything that bothers you outside of the court, I have heard many athletes saying it's better than sex, and really, if it isn't, it's very close, it's almost the same fulfilling exhaustion you feel after having sex.

I will stop this here, because I'm having a lot of trouble to describe why it is good and the text is getting unintelligible. And I didn't even describe the feeling of scoring points in an important game, it's as good as an orgasm. (This saying is also backed by many athletes)

Well, when you do it for the first times you may say " I don't feel elated, I feel like my muscles are going to rip". It's normal, but you will gradually get used to it until your muscles won't hurt at all. It's the same things as going to the gym.

WARNING: There is a possibility I and my friends are only Handball addicts.
