But I noticed that all the "Naruto-Haters" are from the US or an other country where Naruto is on TV.

In Belgium there isn't Naruto, which means no "Narutards", and which means I'm not going to hate "Naruto" just because there are some freaks who obsess about it. >.<

It does a little bit of everything, and because of that they can't really fully explore each aspect. Which makes it look "sucky" to some.

I actually find that there are a lot of similarities between the two, and I think it ended a lot like the way I picture Naruto ending. As far as one being better than the other I don't really prefer one over the other more like 666 Satan was a condensed version of the main points Kishimoto is trying to express in Naruto. While Naruto itself fully fleshes out the main and even sub-characters to weave an intricate plot around those ideas.

To all those who are saying that 666 satan was a rip-off with the whole time skip argument, why don't you just look at the chapters in which the time skip occured in each manga and see which one came first. I would do it myself but I am wayyy to lazy..

I mean, it may be a rip off but, who cares? (okay, don't answer that, it's a stupid question...) I like to read both manga and although i did notice the similarities they didn't bother me. (i mean, what can i do?)

As for the argument that Naruto is a rip off of HxH, you can't really prove it 100%. There are many manga's out ther which have similar plots (example: DNAngel, Kamikaze Jeanne and Saint tail, there all thiefs with magical powers and whatnot(ofcourse two are pure shojo and the other is.....well, not.)(okay that was a bad example but you get the idea...right?))

By the way, BlackandRedStreaks I totally agree, Jio IS sexy... 😁

I was just talking about this with my friends a few days ago. To me, I let the similarities slide because there was bound to be some, seeing how they're twins. Personally, I think that 666 Satan has the better action scenes, and Naruto has the better storyline and characters.

But Seishi has no excuses for Blazer Drive. The many ways that it's exactly like 666 Satan and Naruto is RIDICULOUS. He could have made a different story now that he's in the spotlight, but he didn't.

I just finished 666 Satan a few weeks ago, i wast thinking that it reminded me on Naruto.
666 Satan has a little cooler world and story and that with the demons and Angels is really cool.
But Naruto has better drawings and more manga effects.

I agree with this. 666 was acceptable at the time, but BDrive in concept is almost exactly the same as 666 (concept not theme).

@Dr. Love: Yeah I guess you're right. The cuase of the hatred towards Naruto is mainly 'cause of the anime hype.

The way I see it 666 and Naruto pretty much targets the same audience, but 666 followed the shounen demograph much more than Naruto.

actually, i think naruto is slightly more seinen oriented than most things in WSJ, especially bleach, one piece, as those are like the big 3. most of the subject matter is much more mature and philisophical, if a bit cliche

For 9 years old? Surely not. Naruto, like many shounen manga, is heavy restricted for my kids (7 and 8 years old) and will it be for the whole elementary school time. It's target audience are young teens after all which is a minimum age of 12 years to me.

Just as example from the anime (since I don't know any 'official' age ranking for the manga): The Japanese uncut episodes are rated from PG up to NC17 over her, depending on the individual content.

As for a comparison of Naruto and 666 Satan. I like both and the similarities amused me. If both brothers are ok with it, just let them be. Why calling it a rip-off when even the authors themselves don't see it that negative? I can easily picture them sitting together and joking over the question who did the best interpretation of a certain cliche 🤣

Well, I read 666 Satan in my earlier manga days, when everyone was fresh and new to me. Maybe that's why I liked it? Looking back, it did annoy me at the end, where the fights were all cliche...You know, people look like they are going to die, friend screams out their name, they figure out something last second...

Still better than Naruto, as it had an ending... weird as it was... 😀

You guys sure like to talk stuff... Did ya all knew BOTH mangakas are Dragon Ball FANS? and that BOTH declared that what influenced their work was indeed dragon ball 😛 if they look alike ya know why 😛 .

I like Cross too... bishonen wins <3 I don't like how naruto's storyline got stretched and stretched until perhaps volume 50. I'm so sick and bored of the stupid cliche. wth. both shonen has stupid cliches but naruto's longer and abnormal, I hate that.

I just dislike 666satan's ending... bleh... I hate it. I was dumbstruck when I read the ending... because... all my favourite chars were gone.... OMG. the hotties no longger exist, this can't happen T_T

I was formerly a naruto fan... but I finally got tired of following the stupid and idiot main char... I really hate it now 🙁

yes I realize that they are both similar, but here is why I like 666 better. because it had a ending.
Naruto just keeps dragging on.

I really enjoyed reading 666Satan. I thought it was a good plot and yea it has similarities with Naruto but a lot of mangas have similarities, so all you people that have a problem with it, get over yourselves. They're still awesome mangas.

I personally look forward to Naruto every week and all the haters should go make there own forum or something.
