Which has better multiplayer?

Both are amazing, but I gotta go with Halo 3 as the better multiplayer game. More weapon variety, vehicle use, forge, faster pace, and much more balanced.

Why only 2 choices? I personally like TF2 but if i was forced into your two choices, I'd say CoD4, it's much more fun and u need to be pro to survive.

i have never played call of duty 4 or halo 3 im more into RPG games anime games ex Naruto rais of a ninja,Bleach.but halo videos i saw looked cool

if you hink halo 3 is faster paced than cod 4 you've never played a 32 player shipment map.
the character customization aspect of cod 4 also add alot to the variety and strategy of multiplayer. the only downside is that you can't change them during around. so you need to start with the 4 you're gonna use.

I'm gonna say COD 4 cause I really don't like Halo much. I know this ain't a choice, but Resistance: Fall of Man is pretty fast paced with up to 40 person death matches.

I agree with funkmu1 big fan of TF2 got the pc ver so theirs always new custom maps and if u play some of the mods then they bring new game modes to. but since i have to choose my vote goes for CoD4 i rly like the perk system, halo 3 just kinda feels like the first 2 Cod is something new....

if frontlines fuels of war had bigger multiplayer size id go with it but since it only has a 16 players... anyways my vote goes to cod4

I don't play either, I usually play 1player RPGs but If I had to pick one it would be Call of Duty 4 cuz Halo is just old as hell.

Please dont state your opinion until you've actually played both games. Gameplay vids dont really tell you anything about how smooth it plays or anything like that, they just show how good the graphics are and maybe a few gameplay elements. My suggestion: rent both, play the multiplayer, and buy whichever one you like better, THEN come back onto this thread and say which you think is better. Just hope you didnt vote already...

My suggestion is to leave this open for more than just CoD4 and Halo 3, they dont define the FPS genre. I remember when CS was all the rage (not source but pre 1.6), that game rocked when it came out. I also enjoyed the first few Medal of Honors (especially Pacific Assault) as well as the Battlefield series. Halo 1 and 2 were fun as well, but I also loved games like Unreal Tournament and Doom. I played Farcry a few times as well and that game was nice too.
