Kratos has the Rage of the Gods (Titans) to counter the Devil Trigger and some blades on long ass chains. May not be as fast as Dante but twice as stong. Let him get in grabbing range 😀

Speed beets strength. Besides, Dante could easily duck under the chains (if you watch the video I posted, you'd know how flexible he is) and shoot Kratos in the chin from below. Plus, Kratos is easily pissed off, and Dante could use that to his advantage. All he has to do is call him "weak" or "worthless" or "bald" and Kratos will lose his temper and not think before rushing in.
