Cats or Dogs?

Definitally a cat person. When I was growing up, there was always a cat in the house; I never even really wanted a dog that much. And now that there is a dog in my house, I've just confermed how much of a cat person I really am...

Definitely cats. Dogs are too loud sometimes...not to mention they freak me out a little ._.
Besides...cats can stay cute even when they're grown up! Dogs however....>_> especially those wrinkly ones...eew, man, just eew.

Dogs all the way. They're more friendly than cats and cats' attitudes seem bitchy to me. And I go hunting from time to time, so they're more useful.

I vote for cats based solely on the fact that cat-girls are slightly hotter than dog-girls. I'm not really too much into either animal itself though.

Unfortunately, my oldest brother has allergies to cat fur that makes his eyes watery. 🙄

I'm more of a dog person. I mean, I like some cats, since they can be really mellow and sweet. But others are completely anti-social and moody and feel the need to scratch me even though I have NO business in harming them...

Simple break down"
Dogs: Are fiercely loyal and some may say they even love their owners
Cats: Wouldn't really care if you were horribly maimed and mutilated in front of them, as long as long as they thought the food dish would still be filled on time.
Dogs: Have many useful roles in our society (such as bloodhounds, sled dogs, guard dogs, seeing eye dogs etc.)
Cats: Like to nap
Dogs: Are easy to train and very responsive to an owner that takes a dominate roll
Cats: Think that they are the dominant one
Dogs: Need a lot of attention and should be brought with you on trips
Cats: Can be left to their own devices, and are a hell of a lot easier to take care of
It probably wasn't a coincidence that dogs were the first animal that mankind ever domesticated, while it took over 7000 more years to even start domesticating cats.
Note: Yes, some cats are used to hunt rats in farms and stuff, but those cats aren’t really domesticated and aren’t trained.

Cats; I've grewed up with a cat as pet.. not a dog. Thats probably why but I just like cats more; not because they're cute (stupid gif pics with cats saying dumb things wich cheezy lines 😀 ) but because of their independance and seemingly strong character; untamed.

- Well I like cats because of their independance (or indifferance). Cats can be dependant too but they always have their own mind about things. I'm not asking my pet to be loyal or helpfull.. just be there.. like an animal 🙂 *

- Totaly... and they sure can nap, especialy in your lap 🙂 *

I'm lazy and if I had to take my pet along on trips I wouldn't have gotten one anyway... I'd be much too worried anways (bad experience with trips & pets :s)It probably wasn't a coincidence that dogs were the first animal that mankind ever domesticated, while it took over 7000 more years to even start domesticating cats.

- Cat's aren't of much use, domesticated or not. But don't forget that when they were used all those years ago they had a lot more usefulness than you seem to give them credit for here. Cats chased rodents and the likes away unlike any other available creature and that quite litterly saved any settlement from both plagues and famine.*
